Warehouse Refurbishment

Project: Conversion of run down building into modernised internet distribution centre in Guernsey.

Our client was looking to set up an internet distribution centre to supplement their high street stores. A site was identified in Guernsey but the M&E and Conditions surveys revealed an alarming number of issues and deficiencies with the building that would need addressing.

PW Construction were awarded with the role of principle contractor to undertake the works and were given strict budgets and timeframes to have the work completed.

The work commenced in July and the warehouse was to be operational by September.

The buildings area was 60,000 square feet which was split over three levels - basement, ground and first floors. In addition there was external and roof works to complete.

The whole site was gutted and the warehouse refurbishment began. Below is a list of the main works undertaken.
