Narrow aisle racking consists of the same uprights and horizontal beams but with the aisles between the racking being considerably narrower than with wide aisle pallet racking. The eliminates a lot of wasted space and the pallets can be stored to a gretaer height to maximise all available space. The pallets are accessed via specialised trucks which can be guided either by floor mounted steel rails or wire guidance in the floor.
