Racking Inspection
We provide an independent and professional service that enables you to comply with the necessary regulations.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 states that all ‘work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair.’

To ensure that your storage equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition, regular racking safety inspections should be undertaken.

All inspections will be carried out as detailed in the Sema Guide – Guide to the Conduct of Pallet Racking and Shelving Surveys and adhering to SEMA Guide - Code of Practice for the use of static racking.

All inspections will be carried out at ground floor level and any areas which are not accessible will be clearly marked on the report form.

Upon completion of the inspection, two detailed presentation reports will be compiled and issued to you which will indicate the relevant actions to be taken to rectify any damage which may be present.

The report will indicate the racking manufacturer and all items that require replacing, giving relevant dimensions to enable you to obtain competitive quotations from the supplier of your choice. The report will also contain a floor plan layout drawing enabling you to quickly view the overall warehouse facility and it will indicate any damages that the racking has sustained making it easier to identify the areas of concern and to aid in the subsequent installation works. In addition photographic proof may be included.
The inspection service is not only a racking damage report but also a survey of the warehouse operations.
